Anyone for Anya - Sketch

We have a nice easy sketch to follow on Anyone for Anya this week. For my card I've used a sweet CC Designs image and some very pretty papers by Zoe Pearn from the Sweet Shoppe. I hope you will join us, we are very generously sponsored by Harlekino Hobby.

By the time you read this I will hopefully be on my to Alexandra Palace to get lots of inspiration and add to my stash. If you're there too and you see me, do say hi. Have a good week.

Anyone for Anya - Back to School

Back to school is the theme this week on Anyone for Anya, something I associate with the shorter, cooler days of autumn, so I've made my card in autumn colours. The image is by CC Designs, papers - MME Bloom and Grow, flower -Marriane Design die, leaves - Crealise die. I hope you will join us this week, we are sponsored by Stampeezee and you can win £10 to spend in store. To be eligible for the prize just make an item on the theme using a Greeting Farm or CC Designs image. I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Anyone for Anya - Christmas in August

Apologies for the late posting but here's my card for this week's challenge which is to make a Christmas card. This is good for me as I am trying to get a head start early on this year. I've used an image from CC Designs and decided that for once she should be able to breath so I've drawn in a mouth and nose!. Papers are by Zoe Pearn from the Sweet Shoppe and the layout is a previous Friday Sketchers.

We are sponsored this week by Karen's Doodles and the prize is two free digis. To be in with a chance of winning the prize you must remember to use a Greeting Farm or CC Designs image. I look forward to seeing your creations.

Anyone for Anya? - Stitching

Happy Sunday everyone. I must admit I've not been in the mood for crafting or blogging much lately (been enjoying some good books). Anyway here's my DT make for this week's Anyone for Anya challenge which is stitching - real or fake. I went for a very simple design and as I had two of these sweet CC Designs images printed I've made two cards. I really like them, if I do say so myself :)

Do join in the challenge this week, we are sponsored by Simon Says Stamp and you could win a $15 gift voucher. Just remember to use a Greeting Farm or CC Designs image on your card.

Anyone for Anya - Be Dazzled

It's time to get your sparklies out because the challenge this week at Anyone for Anya? is be dazzled. Our sponsor this week is Crafty Sentiments and you have the chance to win a super cute clear stamp. As always you must use a Greeting Farm or CC Designs image on your card.

My card features an older CC Designs mermaid and I really went to town with the stickles :D. (Apologies for the crooked photo.)

Anyone for Anya - Black, Pink and White

A colour challenge this week on Anyone for Anya, we want to see your black, white and pink creations. There's a fab prize up from Jacobi. Don't forget to use a Greeting Farm or CC Designs image.

My card is a pretty simple one and uses a CC Designs digi image from All that Scraps. Sentiment is a rub-on. I'm also entering it to the Dare U 2 Digi Stamp Great outdoors challenge. TFL

Papertake Sketch

This first card is my entry to this week's Papertake challenge. I've used papers from Zoe Pearn at the Sweet Shoppe and a sweet digi stamp by CC Designs at All That Scraps. Her name is Birgitta. The snowflakes are a combination of Sizzix and Wizard dies. Coloured with Copics.

I liked this combination of papers and colours so much that I printed them out again and made another card, using another sweet image from All That Scraps. This one's name is Nora. I've varied the layout slightly on this card.

Couple of Challenges

Now that it's made I think this card is a bit busy. Now I assemble my card completely before I actually stick anything down but some how I didn't see that it was busy till I had stuck everything down. Too close to it I suppose. Anyway it's for the following challenges:

Papertake - Angels or Fairies. I've taken that to mean winged people so I hope my pixie counts.

Truly Scrumptious - A sketch with an Indian Summer theme. Gardening is something I associate with summer so think this is pretty summery.

A Spoon full of Sugar - Distressing. I've inked and distressed pretty much everything here.
