Anyone for Anya - Anything But A Card
I've been meaning to try making some little treat boxes for a while now as I've been thinking about homemade goodies for Christmas pressies and also because we're having a major fundraising drive at church for some renovations we need to make. This week's challenge at Anyone for Anya provided the perfect opportunity. The Top Heavy Pillow Box cut file that I used was purchased from The Digichick and cut on the Cricut. I've also used Sweet Shoppe papers and Wild Sprout Charlotte. All very easy to do. And what did I put in my treat box? Some scrummy yummy homemade cherry and ginger fudge. You can find the recipe on the Carnation website. They even have a very useful fudge making video.
ETA I'm entering this to the Stamptacular Sunday No Cards Allowed Challenge.
A close up of the tag. Charlotte is coloured with a mix of Copics and pencil. The sentiment is by Waltzing Mouse.
I hope you will join us in this week's challenge. We are sponsored by Whiff of Joy and you can win a very cute stamp.

Anyone for Anya? - Colour Challenge
We've a colour challenge for you on Anyone for Anya? this week. Purple, White, grey or silver. Carisa, one of the DT is our sponsor and you can win an Ippity stamp set and some October Afternoon papers.
On my card the background snowflake stamp is from Waltzing Mouse. It's been embossed in white, the paper was inked with Almost Amethyst and Lavender Lace inks then sprayed with pearl Glimmer Mist. Miss Anya Snow has been coloured with pencils and stardust pens and the sentiment is by Amy R for CC Designs. The photos don't really show all the shimmer and sparkle. Do join us in the challenge this week.

Anyone for Anya - Sketch 13

Thanks to everyone who joined in the Anyone for Anya Birthday blog hop last week, I hope you all had fun. Thanks too to everyone who entered for my candy, however there can only be one winner and that's Annette. Annette please email me so I can get the flowers in the post to you.
Now onto this week's challenge which is a fab sketch from Dawny P. We are sponsored by Squiggle Stamps and you could win a £15 voucher to spend in store. My card features Wild Sprout Audrey - a digi from The Greeting Farm. I've used some freebie papers that came with Simply Cards and Paper Crafts Magazine. I hardly ever use freebie papers but I loved the colour combo and bold pattern on these. I had made my flower earlier when I was trying out a couple of new Versacolor inkpads, so I was really chuffed to find that it went so well with the card. Well that's it, thanks for looking and I do hope you will join in the challenge this week.

Anyone for Anya

We have a colour challenge for you this week on Anyone for Anya. The photo below is the inspiration. I loved the pinks and purples but didn't have any designer papers to match so I made my own. I've chalked the background then stamped with versacolor inkpads and finally spritzed with glimmer mist. I really like how it shimmers in the light. The flowers are also home made, they're cut with Marian Design dies. I've used my absolute favourite Miss Anya, I don't know why but I just love colouring her. So there you have it - my card for this week which I love.
I look forward to seeing your entry. We are sponsored, this week, by Bunny Zoe Crafts and you can win two single Greeting Farm stamps or one set. Please remember that you are only eligible for the prize if you enter a card that uses a Greeting Farm or CC Designs image.

Anyone for Anya - Christmas in August

Apologies for the late posting but here's my card for this week's challenge which is to make a Christmas card. This is good for me as I am trying to get a head start early on this year. I've used an image from CC Designs and decided that for once she should be able to breath so I've drawn in a mouth and nose!. Papers are by Zoe Pearn from the Sweet Shoppe and the layout is a previous Friday Sketchers.
We are sponsored this week by Karen's Doodles and the prize is two free digis. To be in with a chance of winning the prize you must remember to use a Greeting Farm or CC Designs image. I look forward to seeing your creations.

Anyone for Anya? - Stitching

Happy Sunday everyone. I must admit I've not been in the mood for crafting or blogging much lately (been enjoying some good books). Anyway here's my DT make for this week's Anyone for Anya challenge which is stitching - real or fake. I went for a very simple design and as I had two of these sweet CC Designs images printed I've made two cards. I really like them, if I do say so myself :)
Do join in the challenge this week, we are sponsored by Simon Says Stamp and you could win a $15 gift voucher. Just remember to use a Greeting Farm or CC Designs image on your card.

Anyone For Anya - Anything Goes

This week at Anyone for Anya the challenge is simply:
ANYTHING GOES!!
So any shape, any size, just remember you need to use an image from The Greeting Farm or CC Designs.
This week we are sponsored by DIGITAL DELIGHTS (big thanks to them).
For my very simple card I've used one of the Twinkle Tots from The Greeting Farm. The background paper was coloured with chalk pastels, then stamped with chalk inks and I really like the soft effect you can achieve. Hope you are enjoying your Sunday and look forward to seeing all your entries. TFL.

Anyone For Anya? - Men Only

As Father's Day is coming up, the challenge this week on AFA? is Men Only Allowed. If you don't have a dad you can just make a card for a man. I've used the drummer digi from the Greeting Farm. Was a bit worried about colouring the hair but I think it's turned out ok. This is also my entry to the Papertake challenge which this week is a sketch. Hope you're enjoying the weekend.

Anyone for Anya? - Double Trouble

For the Anyone for Anya challenge this week we would like to see 2 images on your card. This can be done through masking or you can put 2 images side by side. I've used Miss Anya Snow and a slightly altered Nora for my card. You might be wondering why, when the weather has just turned gorgeous, I decided to make a winter card. Well I bought some Flowersoft at Ally Pally and it's just been sitting on the desk waiting for me to have a go with it. I've never used it before and I have to say I don't think it's really right for this card. It's a bit coarse so I'll probably end up scraping it all off and using fun flock instead. Anyway I hope you can find the time to join in our challenge and I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Anyone for Anya - Lotsa Layers

This week at Anyone for Anya the challenge is Losta Layers. Basically we want to see some dimension on your cards. So you could decoupage part of your image or part of the paper, or you could just layer up your papers. How you interpret it is up to you and as long as it isn't just a flat piece of work, then that is fine. As you can see I've gone for layers of papers and on my flowers. There's a fab stamp set up for grabs this week so why not join in?

Anyone for Anya - Sweet as Sugar

For this week's challenge at Anyone for Anya, were asking you to use something girly and pretty on your card. Can't get too much easier than that and there's a fab stamp up for grabs, donated by Tracy at Dies to Die For.
When I think girly and pretty I think pink and sparkle and flowers so my card includes all of these things. It was rather labour intesive as the background is stamped and coloured as well as the main image. I've worked on Stampin Up blush blossom cardstock. Not a colour I usually like much but am very pleased with how this card turned out. Colouring is done with watercolour pencils blended with Zest It.
