I was a bit experimental and used a black pencil to do most of my shading, do you think it's worked?

This is a very pretty card Julie. I have never attempted colouring before, (just bought some Pro Markers), but you have inspired me to have a go. When I just tuned in to your blog this evening the first thing I thought was 'ooo, I really like how Julie's coloured that image' but couldn't work out what was different until I read your post about the black pencil! It looks so effective, and really makes the image pop. Blue and red is one of my fave colour combos too! x

This my first time posting a comment on your blog. I have been a fan for quite some time. Your work really makes me smile. I have even taught some of my friends how to make some of the flowers you use on your projects. My mother's birthday was Nov. 27 and I used the card you made your mom on mother's day as a template to make my mom's card! You're the best!
