Anyone for Anya? - Sketch

Have you seen the new look Anyone for Anya Blog? Looks fab doesn't it? If you've been along to the blog you will also have seen that I've decided to step down from the DT team. I've had fun since I started in January but feel that I need to take a break. I'd like to thank Dawny P for giving me the opportunity and Yvonne who's done such a fab job of running the challenge since Dawny stepped down. Anyway this presents an opportunity for anyone who's looking for the chance to join the team as there is a DT call for four new members. POP along to the Anyone for Anya blog to check out the commitment and see what you need to do to enter.

So onto this week's card. We've a great sketch to follow so I hope you will join us. My card uses a CC Designs image and some Sweet Shoppe digi papers. We are sponsored by Harlekino and you can win a cute stamp.

I was a bit experimental and used a black pencil to do most of my shading, do you think it's worked?

This is a very pretty card Julie. I have never attempted colouring before, (just bought some Pro Markers), but you have inspired me to have a go. I'm new to the blog world, so don't have may visits/comments on my blog. So I was delighted to see that you had left a comment on my Time For Tea project - Thank You! Julie xx

Hi Julie! When I just tuned in to your blog this evening the first thing I thought was 'ooo, I really like how Julie's coloured that image' but couldn't work out what was different until I read your post about the black pencil! It looks so effective, and really makes the image pop. Blue and red is one of my fave colour combos too! x

Julie,
This my first time posting a comment on your blog. I have been a fan for quite some time. Your work really makes me smile. I have even taught some of my friends how to make some of the flowers you use on your projects. My mother's birthday was Nov. 27 and I used the card you made your mom on mother's day as a template to make my mom's card! You're the best!
