Snowflakes and Pearls

Friday's Free For All Challenge on SCS was to have snowflakes and pearls on your card. My first idea was to make a CAS card but then I thought that it might be nice to have a little colour in my gallery so the top card was what I went with. I stamped the snowflake background and then sponged with Versacolor inks. The image is an old PC Crafter one and is coloured with pencils. I sprayed the background with Glimmer Mist so it's really shimmery although that may not show in the photo. Added some Glamour Dust to the edges to finish. I was pleased with my blue card but the CAS idea wouldn't go away so I made that too. A really quick and simple card that would be easy to make in quantity. I think it's quite elegant despite the peel-off greeting ;)

I'm also entering these into the Cute Card Thursday - Get a Head Start Challenge.

They're both beautiful Julie! I love the background you made on the first one and the snowman is very cute. Love your soft colouring too. the CAS card is very elegant and it's always great to have a few designs you can make a lot of quickly. Hope you're well and having a good weekend. Chris :)

Beautiful cards, Julie. I love the way you arranged the pearls on the snowflakes, and I love the fresh crispness of the card. Your CAS card is definitely elegant! I'm not a huge peel-off fan either but sometimes they are just the right thing so I like to use them now and again.
