Wishing You Strength And Hope

I don't know what it is but I don't seem to be able to see a new make your own rose tutorial without having a go. The instructions for this one are here on the StampARTic blog. Mine hasn't turned out quite as nicely as theirs, I think because my centre's not as neat. Still I was pleased enough to use it on this card and I'll definitely be experimenting and trying to perfect it. I think I could have done with using a quicker drying glue than Glossy Accents - really must get me a hot glue gun. The flower is made with the EK Success retro flower punch. The leaves are various Crealies and Marianne Design dies. The decorative corners are done with a Nellie Snedden die. Sentiment is from a sympathy set by Stampendous. Thanks for visiting.

Hi Julie, sorry I haven't been around much, I've had trouble (twice now) of someone unauthorized accessing my blog which brings everything to a halt whilst it's sorted out.
I absolutely love the emsemble below, it's so beautiful, so elegant and so classy!! I've tried Sassa's tutorial - mine didn't turn out as good as hers but your is 100% better than mine - it's gorgeous!!

Oh just beautiful!!

Glues - now there's a thing.. lol. Have you tried Cosmic Shimmer's glue? My gosh, that dries quicker than anything!! And, if you want to try it just let me know and I'll send you some, but Tombow adhesive from SU is fab.. not quite as quick drying as the CS, but still great!

Beautiful projects recently, loving the flowers, colours and evrything else..

Love Jo x

Wow! Truly stunning, Julie. At first glance I thought this was a photo of a real rose.
Beautiful sentiment too - I can't help thinking this would look awesome in one of those deep frames.

This is just beautiful and thanks for the link to the tutorial. Here's one I had a go at using Stampin Up's owl punch. The post has a link to the original tutorial, too. I'm positive you will do it better than I did.

cheers,
