Sentiment Cards

Just a quick post to show you some non image cards I've made. All the sentiments are from a couple of sets of Christmas sentiments by CC Designs which I got from Dies to Die For. (Very impressed with the service). I'm really liking sanded embossing on patterned paper at the moment and I've used it on two of these cards, as well as the tags in my last post. That's it! Have a great weekend.

Delightful cards... all so lovely. You should give the pink one for the Sarah Hurley challenge. She has asked for a Christmas card without red and white.

Beautiful cards!

Really beautiful work, Julie (as is all your work!). I love that sanded effect on the embossed patterns. You make it look very elegant and stylish. I really like the effect of the sentiments as the focal point too x

All of your cards are absolutely gorgeous! But, I'd have to say my favorite is the green one...I love anything with snowflakes!

Hi Julie... great that you tried the truffles. I found them tricky too... I used a couple of forks to roll them in the chocolate, then lifted them out with one fork and let the excess chocolate drain away, before sliding them onto some greaseproof paper. Some of mine ended up in puddles too.. but I just trimmed it away with a sharp knife.
