How I Made My Flower Step by Step
I got asked how I made the flower on my last post and thought I'd do a step by step tutorial. First off let me say that this is really just a scaled down version of the flower demonstrated on the StampARTic blog last year so it's not my own invention.
You'll need three sizes of punch, some ink, a small brad and something to dampen the flower. I used Glimmer mist cost I like my shimmer and shine but you can use water. You need to use a decent weight paper that won't tear too easily when damp, I actually used an envelope that had got a bit creased in my overstuffed box of envies.Punch two large and one each small and medium flowers and ink them on both sides.
Use the brad to assemble the flower and then spritz it. You want all the petals to be damp. I usually hold it in my hand and give three of four spritz and then mop up the excess with the back of the flower to ensure the back petals aren't left dry.
Scrunch up the damp flower then open it out again and GENTLY shape the petals with your fingers. You can leave it to dry naturally or if you're impatient like me you can dry it with a heat gun. You can continue to tweak the shape of the petals once it is dry again.
You can see that I lost a petal at the damp stage on the first flower but I still used it on my card and don't think it's that obvious. The embossed panel was first coloured using the same inkpads as on the flowers then I went a bit mad with the stickles - even covered the brads! Anyway hope you found that useful. If you have a go leave me a message so I can come and have a look.

Hello.
Wonderful flowers you have made. I also try to make some flowers or create new ones, of them I have. Flowers are so expensive to buy.
