A Couple of Cards

Happy Easter everyone. Two very different cards to show you today. This first one features some lovely Papermania papers and a Pink Petticoat image and sentiment. I've cut the hippo out and stuck her on with foam pads. Pearls by Kaiserkraft and Basic Grey.

One of the things I used to enjoy about crafting, before I knew there was such a thing as designer paper, was starting with plain white paper and ending up with something colourful. All the colour here has been added with inkpads and I really like the clean (if not that simple) look of this card. The sentiment is by Stampin Up. TFL and enjoy the holiday weekend.

Both cards are stunning Julie. I'm with you on the designer paper thing, I do like them but even now I rarely use them, it's just great to create your own backgrounds and designs.
Have a fab Easter,
Love Sarita xx
