Colour Create - Blue Silver and White

Here's my entry for the Colour Create challenge. It's a pretty simple card, can't remember when I last made one with so much plain white space! The main idea is copied from a box of cards I saw in Tesco. Theirs said Noel and was very elegant with the letters in black and white patterned papers. I've used silver mirri and Coredinations whitewash cardstock. The letters were cut on my brand spanking new Cricut :) then embossed with the swiss dots folder. The snowflake is a combination of Sizzix and Wizard dies. A little card candy to finish it off.

Eat your heart out, Tesco! I'm sure, Julie, that your fabulous card is nicer than theirs. I love this simple design which you have executed beautifully! Warm wishes, Lesley

Just beautiful Julie - simple, elegant and classy. Wonder where Tesco's got their inspiration from - probably blogging lol.
Might haave to pick your brains about using the Coredinations whitewash - I've a huge pad but everything I've done so far looks horrible!!
Love your snowflake and it's embellishments.
hugs Heather xx

Absolutely stunning Julie! Sometimes less really is more. I agree with Zoe, I look at cards in shops for inspiration too. I'm very jealous of your cricut machine - I'm still cutting letter by hand lol!

Lovely card Julie, please could you tell me which font you used as I was toying with a similar idea myself but was unable to alter the size of the font so it fit together like yours does. I recently got a cricut for my birthday and I am having a lot of challlenges with it.

Thank you
Vanessa
