Gift or Keepsake Box

I haven't been feeling very creative the past week. I don't know why it is but if I try to make something that goes wrong enough to have to be abandoned it seems to kill my creativity for a while. Anyway I started this box on Sunday and finally finished it yesterday. It's very much inspired by some beautifully shabby chic boxes I've seen on some of the Scandanavian blogs. I've filled it with white chocolate truffles and think it's a nice way to make an inexpensive gift special. The papers are by Verena Karolyi and I used my retro punches to make the flowers. Used mountboard to make the box a bit more sturdy.

Absolutely gorgeous Julie! I've been looking at these boxes too lately and fallen in love with them. I've nearly finished a very small one and I've been a bit the same as you and have started a few things I haven't been happy with so I totally know what you mean about the mojo going missing when things don't come out right. Whoever receives this little choc box is going to feel so special, it's very beautiful. Chris x
