A Few Christmas Cards

I've been thinking the reason I'm not feeling so creative at the mo is because I need to be making Christmas cards and I don't really feel like it. Anyway I've persevered and here are the results. I quite like how bright and non traditional they are. The stamps are by The Angel Company and the papers are Zoe Pearn from the Sweet Shoppe. Coloured with Whispers Brush Markers.

This next card is growing on me. The stamp is by Wendy Rhodes and it's quite big so this card is 17 x 12.5 not a size I use often. I've used Sissix texture plates to do the embossing and then sanded them back. I've also added quite a bit of sparkle which you can see better in the close up piccy. The sketch is from A Spoon Full of Sugar.

LOL, I don't feel like making anything "other" than Christmas cards! ;) Oh these are cute Julie, I have these cute snowmen too, I've never seen them look so good! Fab colors and design...and as always love your coloring! The tree card is pretty too, reminds me of a Dr. Suess tree. :)

Oooo I love these Julie. The orange on the snowman cards goes perfectly with his carrot nose. Orange and Green should become the new 'official' Christmas colours. They look great.
Your second card is fabby too. Delish wobbly tree. Loving all the sparkle!

Love the cards Julie. The Christmas tree is very unusual. I'm trying hard to get my Christmas cards done, I usually end up in a panic finishing some off on Christmas Eve (very stressful).x

So glad I followed Silke's blog to yours...what fun cards! I'm a bit burnt out on Christmas cards too (sad, really) so these snowman cards are perfect with their colors and great layout. :)
