Anyone for Anya - Pink White Plus

Here's my entry for the Anyone for Anya challenge which was to use pink and white plus one other colour. We were allowed the skin and hair colours so my other colour is the grey ground she's standing on. The papers are some Pink Petticoat ones which I've altered and generally played around with. Miss Anya is coloured with copics and I've glitzed up her furry bits with stickles. I knew I wanted to use Copics but I found that they make my Versafine ink run. The only Momento inkpad I've got is grey (London Fog - I live in London and I couldn't tell you the last time we had any fog but once you've got a reputation it seems to stick!) Anyway to get back to the point Miss Anya is stamped in grey. I quite like the hair without the black lines but I think her face looks a bit indistinct. What do you think?

This is a sweet card, lovely combination of pinks. I think your image looks very subtle in grey ink with pink. It works well. The grey possibly wouldn't work with other darker colours so well. Elaine

What a lovely idea to use snowflakes as the center of your flower, love it! This way they go perfect with the image. Also love the glitter on her muff.

Nice to have you in our AFA Challenge this week!

Hi Julie, it's so lovely to come and comment here knowing that I've now met you in real life :), it was really great to meet you last weekend. I think your card is gorgeous and also the wonderful get well card below, both very beautiful. I actually like the softness of the image done in the grey ink, for some of my stamps I quite often use brown ink when I don't want the harshness of black. Your colouring and papers are beautiful. Hope you're having a good weekend. Chris x

I can't believe it-the Bazzill card I've just used in my last post is called London Fog as well!
Your Miss Anya is perfect, I like the softness of the colouring.
And I love how you've glittered the fur too,
Love Sarita xx

Totally fabulous Julie... I think Anya looks great stamped in Grey. Such gorgeous colours too. I'm loving the pink-n-frosty look. And you know me, I'm a sucker for a bit of glitter.
It was so lovely to meet you at the Craft Extravaganza last weekend.
Hope you are enjoying your weekend.

I love using grey to stamp my images, but the one I use is a Stampin Up basic grey. it seems a bit darker to yours.

Do you have a fine black pen to pick out detailson her face? I see what you mean about it being a bit indistinct.

Love Jo x

Hi Julie, this is just gorgeous, Love the practically monochrome look. I know what you mean about the features looking indistinct when you use brown or grey ink - I have a Copic multi-liner pen in shade 0.05 which is a grey and very fine. I just run over the eyes etc. with that just to give them a little more definition.
