My First Attempts With Copics

I finally bought myself a few Copic markers. I spent Sunday morning watching video tutorials on YouTube and then had a go. I've only got the Ciao skin tone set so my colour choices were quite limited but I found them really easy to use.

The bear is a Pink Petticoat digistamp. I didn't have any paper that really matched the pink hence the relatively clean and simple card. I'm entering this one to the Cute Card Thursday Eye Eye challenge. The papers on the Miss Anya card are from the Take My Breath Away set of digikits by Sweet Digi Scraps.

I only got a few Copics because I wasn't sure I'd get on with them, now I just need to buy myself a load more colours ;).

Oh dear Julie, there'll be no going back now, lol...no seriously i still enjoy using pencils, i like how copics and pencils can work together on one image...i've been having a browse on Cult Pens this morning, free p&p when you spend over £10 which is easy to do when choosing from so many colours. You've done a fantastic job here, loving the digi papers, the colours are so pretty and what a cute bear from PP. Thanks for your visit earlier...cant wait to see what you do with Mo's illustrations, just know it'll be fab ! Hope you're well Julie, love Katy x

Wow Julie -you've taken to copics like a duck to water!
I've been trying to resist getting them as I think once you buy one you need more and more but I love how you've used a limited palette to such an effect-maybe I'm tempted....
Take care!

Absolutely gorgeous! I love how easily you seem to have picked up the shading and depth - WOW it took me much longer to get the hang of it. Suggestion: They have these wallet sets, I found that 1 set of 24 is a great starting point. Use the same YouTube videos you learned from to pick your first set of colors.

You go girl!!!

Oh how sweet Julie. Couldn't pick a fave really but lil ted keeps jumping out at me. And your colouring is fantastic. I'm avoiding the Copics in case they have the same effect on me as the Pro Markers and I end up wanting to buy them all!!! Hope you are well chicksie xxxx
