Challenges, Challenges, Challenges

Three cards to show you today. First up my entry to this week's Papertake. One of Dawny's fab sketches which I've had to tweak a bit because this Rubber Romance stamp was a bit too big for my square cards as I needed to add the sentiment. I've used a stardust pen to add a bit of sparkle to the dress but I don't suppose that shows in the photo. Amazingly I haven't added any flowers!
I guess this card makes up for no flowers on the last one. It's for Loretta's sketch challenge on the Do Crafts forum, I've never joined in before but thought it would be fun. I haven't really kept to the sketch because there should be four circles. You can see the instructions for making the roses here. I found them quite fiddly to do but I suppose the end result was worth it.

This last card was created for today's sketch challenge on Splitcoast Stampers. I've used papers from Jen Wilson Designs. I love these bright colours and the Miss Anya stamps are perfect for practicing my colouring.

Hi Julie, your cards are all so beautiful! Those roses look amazing but I bet they took hours to make, not sure whether to follow the link or not LOL! Thanks for putting it in anyway. Great colouring of your images and the papers you've used are beautiful. You asked about avoiding printer ink running when water colouring and I usually make sure I leave my images to dry overnight and try not to overload the brush with water which seems to do the trick. Hope that helps anyway and that you have a great weekend. Chris x
