Vicki's Blog Candy Challenge

I've always loved a bit of sparkle and shimmer so Vicki's 'Bling'ing beautiful challenge really got the creative juices flowing. I've made two cards and as you can see I've gone with the more is more school of thought.

I think I bought flocked vellum at the Stitch and Craft show at Olympia last year. I completely forgot I had it until I discovered it while looking for a plain piece of vellum last week. I've backed it with some Basic Grey paper and added Papermania adhesive stones. A very quick, easy and I think, elegant card that would be perfect for an engagement or wedding.

This is the card I actually want to enter to the challenge. I don't think the photo really does it justice but you might get a better idea if you click on the picture. The glittery vellum is by Papermania and I added more glitter to the scalloped edge. Used adhesive pearls from Lakeland and more Papermania crystals. I tried to stamp a sentiment along the bottom but the textured cardstock defeated me, hence the strip of card with the ribbon! Really pleased with how this came out, hope you like too.
