Wedding Cards

For some reason none of the ideas in my head will transfer themselves to paper at the moment. Still for better or worse (sorry) here are a couple of wedding cards I've made for the Spoon full of Sugar challenge. The first card is also for the Papertake Delightful Downloads challenge. I've used papers by Penny Springman at the Sweet Shoppe and the sentiment is by Tina Chambers at Digital Scrapbook Place. I think it would also work for an engagement or anniversary.

The second card uses Coredinations Whitewash and Stampin Up Blush Blossom cardstock. I've been experimenting with both embossing and debossing and I like the effect. Apart from the fact that I've stamped wedding on this card it probably be used for any occasion. I had intended to include a stamped wedding image instead of the flowers but it just wouldn't work - ho hum. Hope you're having a good weekend.

I think they're both gorgeous, and the second one doesn't need that stamped image, it's beautifully elegant with just the flowers.

Both gorgeous Julie. I was so taken with the paper you used on the first one I've just bought it! And you always put my DIY flowers to shame, yours are just so beautiful. I love how you always colour them to co-ordinate perfectly with your cards.
Perfection as always,
Love Sarita xx

Another two absolutel stunners Julie. I've got myself a pad of the whitewash core-dinations but put it away to take to Germany, seeing this beauty has tempted me to take it out and play. Am trying hard to resist but if I fail it will be all your fault!!
As for the black and white, it is just so beautiful, awesome in fact - love it.

What a beautiful sentiment on this black and vanilla card! And all the details are so spectacular!! That flower punched from the patterned paper, then the center rose edges in black is stunning! This is for BETTER for SURE!
