I really like the colour scheme Kim gave us in this week's Colour Create Challenge, just perfect for my first Christmas card of the year. Two of the snowflakes are made with the HOTP snowflakes and stars template. The tracing and cutting out is a bit tedious but I think the finished result is worth it. I've topped them with some punched snowflakes. The other two snowflakes are cut from the digi kit used to make the card which is by Nitwit Designs. The little dots are by Papermania and I've used stickles for the gloss, glitter or glaze extra. I started out using the Sketch Saturday sketch but my pc crashed and when I checked back I realise that the main image should have been lower which would have worked better with the snowflakes. Apart from that and the fact that my main background paper is upside down I quite like this card. If I can psyche myself up to it I might even make it again properly.

Wow Julie this is just stunning! I adore these gorjuss girl imaegs and this one works so well for a christmas image (although I never woud have thought to use it myself!). The colour create colours this week are perfect for christmas as well! How organised are you maing chritmas cards already! :-)
